One of my favorite no bake ball recipes as of late. I make these and the don’t last but a day or two with my hubby and myself eating at them! Sami Clarke is one of my favorite health bloggers. I enjoy watching her on YouTube and getting meal prep ideas from her. This recipe comes straight from one of her recent Instagram posts. Definitely go check her out!
Kitchen Requirements for No Bake Balls
- Food Processor: A good food processor is ideal to make no bake balls. If you don’t have a food processor, you can also use a food blender such as a Ninja (what I used to use). Some recipes can be made without a processor (this one technically can), but they would not turn out nearly as good. Here is a good one I have.
- Cookie Scoop: A cookie scoop is your kitchen best friend in making any sort of no-bake ball. It perfectly portions out each ball so you can easily roll them into same-sized, bite-sized spheres. Here is a good one I have.
Chocolate Chip Protein No Bake Balls
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 cup of oats
- 1/4 cup flaxseed meal
- 1/4 cup coconut shreds
- 1 scoop Aloha Moment Protein Powder
- 1 scoop Vital Proteins Collagen Protein Powder
- 1/2 cup cashew butter (I love Artisana Organics)
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1/4 cup cacao nibs
DIRECTIONS:
- Process the oats in a food processor until they are a flour consistency (I started doing this longer than I was initially, and it turns out so much better, if you blend the oats up really fine).
- Keeping your food processor on, slowly add in the flaxseed meal, coconut shreds, vanilla protein powder, and collagen protein powder.
- Turn off your food processor. Add in your cashew butter and maple syrup.
- Blend until well combined.
- Add in cacao nibs and pulse a few times.
- Empty your dough into bowl and grab a cookie scoop (I use this one here)
- Make sure the dough is mixed well.
- Dip your cookie scoop and make a flat scoop (get off the excess).
- Squeze out the ball onto a plate. Repeat until dough is gone.
- I then spray my handle with avocado oil spray and roll each ball into a nearly perfect sphere. The oil spray prevents them from sticking too much.
- Refrigerate for the next few days. If you still have some, feel free to freeze them, but they will likely all be gone 🙂

SUBSTITUTIONS:
- You can very easily substitute ingredients here. The protein powders can be any vanilla protein powder. You can just use one instead of collagen and vanilla too. You can use any nut butter here. You can also use honey instead of maple syrup, or Lakanto maple syrup (love a good sugar-free option!). You can use any sort of chocolate chips or chopped up chocolate bar for the chocolate (or leave it without chocolate too for just a cookie dough consistency). I do like a crunch though. Cacao nibs are my favorite.
